Description
Makira grew this fleece here at Goshen Meadows. It was then handspun, not machine milled, by a former alpaca owner who now spins full time, and you can see the difference in the yarn. Handspun has a life to it that mill yarn does not, and there is only ever so much of it.
The Feel
Exceptionally soft with the subtle irregularity that marks real handspun. It blooms as you work it.

From Farm to Fabolous
Many of the pieces in our shop start the same way: on a quiet Texas hillside, with an alpaca who's never met a stranger. We raise our own herd with care, and we partner directly with trusted artisans near and far, so every piece, whether it started here or a world away, is one you can feel good about.
