Many of the pieces in our shop start the same way: on a quiet Texas hillside, with an alpaca who's never met a stranger. We raise our own herd with care, and we partner directly with trusted artisans near and far, so every piece, whether it started here or a world away, is one you can feel good about.

Alpaca FIber

Get to Know Your Fiber

Every piece here is built on the same natural fiber. Here's what actually makes it worth the investment.

Warmer Than Wool

Alpaca fiber has a hollow core that traps body heat, so it keeps you warmer than sheep's wool at the same weight, without the added bulk.

Softer Than Cashmere, Built to Last

Naturally fine and lanolin-free, alpaca fiber rivals cashmere for softness, but resists pilling and holds its shape far longer with regular wear.

Hypoallergenic by Nature

No lanolin means no common irritant. Alpaca fiber is naturally gentle on sensitive skin, even for people who normally react to sheep's wool.

Breathable, Moisture-Wicking Comfort

Alpaca fiber helps regulate temperature and wicks moisture away from the skin, so it feels just as good on a cool morning as it does later in the day.

Naturally Flame Resistant

Alpaca fiber meets the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's Class 1 rating, the highest level of flame resistance for clothing and textiles, with no chemical treatment required.

Made to Last, Made Responsibly

Resistant to stains, odor, and wrinkles, and fully biodegradable at the end of its life. Alpaca fiber is easy to live in, and easy on the planet.

I instantly LOVED the wire shaped heart dispenser…That’s why I bought it!
The birds easily pull out “beaks- worth “…We hung it from a tree during nest building time… to date while some alpaca fiber is missing, we have not had to refill our heart. We enjoy feeding birds that visit our yard. Now we’re able to provide soft nesting stuff, too!
